I have gotten a lot of inspiration and ideas from this case study about Gerhard Steidl, German publisher.
As part of the homework I have looked at the book of Karl Lagerfeld “Paris Photo” as having a lot of digital work I looked for inspirations on how to present it.
It is important not to copy the ideas but understand why certain decisions were made in each case and see how does it translate into your book.
Here is a video worth watching. I laughed so hard at the part where he discovered his pen leaked. I like listening to people who have passion for what they do. Even though book design is not something I enjoy the most but it still kept me engaged throughout.
